Well, I have been away from any ADAM communication for a
few years now and was pleasantly surprised to discover the ADAM
list. I understand from Robert Stroud that the ECHO still
exists, to which Robert gave me an address, that I could look
up. Now we have a website chat room where we can chat in real
time. As you say if we do not have other commitments and the
time zones are not spread too widely, sure it would be a good
thing. I have no idea who all would be there if it were arranged,
but then those who make it will be present and accounted for a
likely have a good time. The list does allow a means of spread-
ing the dialogue. I find that renewing and maintaining the ADAM
found relationships have outlasted the usefulness of the ADAM.
It is nice to recall all the interchange of technical and
instructional info on the ADAM, but except for someone just
discovering an ADAM unit, we primarily are here to maintain
contact. Surely if the chat gets to technical, I would have to
take notes and refer to the multi binders of loose-leaf pages
I have stored.
But if someone determines a time...I will surely look in and add
what I can to the party, and consider it a ball.
